Corporate Projects Internship

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a career in the nonprofit sector. The intern would work directly with Corporate Projects Division of the Community & Civic Engagement Department.  The intern would work to develop, plan, and manage logistics and projects for Special Events such as Hands on Atlanta Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Citizen Service Summit.

 

Responsibilities
Duties would include administrative activities and tasks, making site visits and writing up workscopes with task descriptions tool and material allocation.  Inclusive of project development will be having relationships with agencies and working to find where Hands On Atlanta can best meet critical needs in the community.  Helping the Associate Director of Corporate Volunteerism to manage the Tool and Material process for special events and projects will also be a part of this internship.

 

Qualifications
The candidate in this position needs to have excellent computer, organizational and time management skills, as well as leadership qualities. The candidate should be able to take initiative to work alone, as well in a team environment.
