Corporate
Volunteerism Manager |
The Corporate Volunteerism
Manager will assist in the management of Hands On Atlanta’s corporate
partnerships and execute volunteer events. This position is also
responsible for resource and warehouse management. The Corporate
Volunteerism Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Corporate
Volunteerism and is a member of Hands On Atlanta’s Community &
Civic Engagement Department, which is primarily responsible for
managing nonprofit and corporate partnerships and volunteer programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consult with many of the high-profile corporations that have partnered
with HOA to develop, scope and source high-quality employee volunteer
projects.
- Spearhead Hands On Atlanta’s efforts to increase the return rate of
corporate volunteers and increase their level of involvement.
- Provide supervision to the department’s project coordinators in
conjunction with the Associate Director of Corporate Volunteerism who
will work to ensure that all corporate partners are working toward
meeting critical needs in the community.
- Develop and lead corporate project coordinator trainings and orientations for Hands On Atlanta’s corporate partners.
- Manage Hands On Atlanta’s corporate relationships to increase corporate
volunteer participation in ongoing projects, programs and special
events.
- Ensure all corporate volunteer involvement is tracked through HOTI by
the deadline set by Associate Director of Corporate Volunteerism.
- Ensure that surveys are sent to corporate volunteers within two days of the service project.
Assist the Associate Director of Corporate Volunteerism in preparing
monthly corporate volunteer reports to be shared both internally and
externally.
- Update and maintain accurate historical records and reports of
consultation and project management of all special events and corporate
projects that the Corporate Volunteerism Manager is leading.
- Manage and coordinate tools and materials. This includes
allocating, purchasing, fulfilling and inventorying tools and materials
for all of Hands On Atlanta’s year-round programs, corporate and annual
events.
- Managing and refining the day to day operations of Hands On Atlanta’s
off site tool and material warehouse including tool and material
check-in/check-out, managing volunteers, inventory tracking processes,
general maintenance (trash removal, general cleaning of the warehouse,
dumpster pick up and removal, stocking office supplies, warehouse
supplies) etc.
- Conduct administrative tasks- submit receipts and timesheets by deadline and respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours.
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum two years of management experience
- Two years experience and a proven track record in developing and managing successful volunteer projects
- Experience in working with corporate executives, community affairs staff and volunteer leaders.
A proven understanding of trends within the corporate sector
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and timelines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter; able to work both independently and with a group.
- A proven track record in effective team work- in helping to build and
maintain the levels of enthusiasm and motivation and encourage
collaboration and shared resources.

The successful candidate will
possess a strong interest in community service and civic engagement and
demonstrate mastery of working in culturally diverse environments as
well as designing effective programs in culturally diverse agencies and
communities. All members of the development department take an
active leadership role in agency wide volunteer service and fundraising
events. Work schedules include some evening and weekend
work.
