Atlanta Beltline Jamboree
Atlanta BeltLine Partnership (ABLP) is a non-profit organization funded entirely through private endeavors. ABLP staff members work with neighborhoods, businesses, community and faith organizations, and other groups to raise general awareness, and broad-based support, for the Atlanta BeltLine. ABLP raises funds through private and philanthropic sources, and serves as a catalyst to mobilize resources to achieve the positive social impacts of the Atlanta BeltLine vision. The Atlanta BeltLine is sparking a fun culture of health, activity, and community in Atlanta. By providing parks, trails, transit and affordable in-town living – and by partnering with like-minded organizations – the Atlanta BeltLine is creating unique opportunities for healthier, more sustainable living in Atlanta. Washington Park is a frequent setting for our programming. This festival allows us to introduce our free fitness classes and engage the local community as we kick off the spring season. Volunteer tasks include: + Set up + Directing and answering questions from festival goers + Handing out water + Helping with clean up and take down so we leave the park clean for the neighborhood! Court ordered volunteers are permitted to serve. This project is wheelchair accessible. Volunteers should bring water, Sunscreen, bug spray. Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable attire for working outside.
