With the power of Hands On Atlanta's network of community partners and volunteers, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service made a lasting impact on our community! 

Organized in partnership with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center of Nonviolent Social Change, Inc., and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement, Hands On Atlanta provided access to service opportunities for thousands of conscientious citizens in a variety of support areas including:

  • Poverty Alleviation 
  • Veterans' Service 
  • Beautification of civil rights historic sites and sites dedicated to civil rights leaders
