Family Service Saturdays is a volunteer program designed especially for families with children ages 5-12 that helps parents to help their children understand challenges facing our communities & neighbors while serving in meaningful ways. This program aims to develop an ethic and enjoyment of community service amongst family members young & old.

How it works
Each month, Hands On Atlanta hosts a family Service Saturdays project. Each project exposes young volunteers to a different community need such as hunger, homelessness, the needs of our elders, etc.

Approximately 40 families can participate in each project. Families MUST have at least one child (ages 5-12); however all children within the family can attend
