Description:
Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts is the largest nonprofit in the United States dedicated to the art of puppetry. Volunteers needed for evening events: Help with either our quarterly Patron Parties or evening events in our New Direction Series (adult shows). Jobs vary for evening performances and may include the following: greeting people as they arrive, assisting with house managing during the show, serving drinks, helping with the Create-A-Puppet workshop, and set-up/clean-up before and after the event. Our ideal volunteer candidate is able to commit to a significant length of time, whether that be weekly or monthly, and/or be available for special events and periodic needs. Volunteers must complete a background check prior to serving. Training is provided. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old with adult supervision.
