Description:
The Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency (formerly Samaritan House of Atlanta) breaks the cycle of homelessness by enabling people to transform their lives through sustainable employment and income. Volunteers are needed to help with meal preparation and service tasks at their Café 458 location. A dress code of clean blue jeans and a black t-shirt is required.
Shift details:
* MON-FRI lunch - serve meals to clients who are homeless and those with low income * SUN brunch - Café 458 Sunday Brunch provides a professional atmosphere for adults to donate their time to a worthy cause. The Café is a restaurant open for profit, serving gourmet meals. The proceeds and tips are used to continue funding for our programs. Culinary students are greatly appreciated and volunteers with restaurant experience are welcome but not required.
The minimum age requirement for Cafe 458 on Sunday is 18 yrs old; Monday - Friday 16 yrs old.
