The Same House and Hands On Atlanta are proud to present the 2025 edition of Hands On Atlanta Week, Atlanta’s largest week of service (October 4-11, 2025). Hands On Atlanta Week mobilizes thousands of Atlantans to support 50+ nonprofits and schools to tackle some of our city’s most pressing needs.
This year we’ll level-up this week of service through a special partnership with The Same House, partnering with the 2025 Beloved Benefit beneficiaries to host a marquee volunteer project with each organization throughout the week.

For the last 36 years, nonprofits, schools, companies and volunteers from across metro Atlanta have joined forces on the first weekend in October to help make Atlanta a little more engaged and equitable. In short, Hands On Atlanta Week is a celebration of our collective efforts and shines a bright light on the work being done everyday!

Oct. 7, join Reflections of Trinity’s outreach team, Team 58, to help prepare boxes of food for distribution.
City Bridges Pantry Food Distribution
Oct. 8, help City Bridges fight hunger by distributing food at the Drive-Thru Pantry.
Afterschool Mentor and Homework Helpers
Oct. 9, assist Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta students with their homework, building confidence, and fostering a love of learning.
Food Pantry - Car Ambassador
Oct. 10, join New Life Community Alliance Help program recipients carry and load their items into vehicles if needed
Annual Cascade Springs Nature Conservancy Restoration Day
Oct. 11, help clean and restore the Atlanta Cascade Springs Nature Preserve to remove litter and invasive plants.
Keep Our Community Clean
Oct. 11, spend 2 hours participating in the community clean-up events with The Launch Pad Foundation.
Service Saturdays at Outdoor Activity Center 2025
Oct. 11, help West Atlanta Watershed Alliance with trail building & maintenance, invasive plant eradication, habitat restoration, & more.
Garden Work Day: Hawthorne Center
Oct. 7, help Keep Smyrna Beautiful maintain the community garden at the Hawthorne Adult Education Center.
Meal Delivery to Seniors
Oct. 8, join Open Hands Atlanta to help deliver meals and compassion to clients in the metro-Atlanta area.
Legacy Park Beautification
Oct. 9, join Legacy Park while enhancing their own gardening knowledge and connecting with nature
