CASE STUDY

Deepening the Partnership

We partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to support 40+ of their partner pantries, with access to our volunteer management system, issue-specific programming, volunteerism trainings, and specialized promotion + recruitment. For our most recently graduating cohort of 12 pantries, this drove 13K volunteers to pack 9 million meals – a 10% increase from their original distribution numbers. These intentional, customized efforts were a game-changer for food security in Atlanta!

WHAT WE DON’T DO

Hands On Atlanta does NOT recruit volunteers to:

Work with private individuals independent of an agency
Work on political campaigns and other partisan activities
Make direct financial asks as part of fundraising activities
Take part in direct religious proselytizing or political lobbying
Serve with non-mission related tasks or events (serving concessions, parking assistance and/or ushering at sporting or entertainment events)
