If you have court ordered or mandatory community service hours to complete, we’re here to help!

Quickly access all of the approved, mandatory and court ordered volunteer opportunities from our calendar of projects.

*Read below for next steps

  1. SIGN UP

Once you’ve found the project you’d like to serve with, click the Sign Up button at the bottom of the description. You’ll be prompted to log into your Hands On Atlanta account or you’ll create one. Creating your account is easy and it just takes a minute.

Note: If there’s no sign up button and it says Express Interest, that opportunity will need to approve you. The sign up steps are the same, but you won’t be officially registered to serve at that project until you receive an email notification, confirming you've been added.

Show up and serve on the date and time you selected! BE SURE TO SIGN IN at the volunteer site. Upon completion of your service, the nonprofit will report your hours served in our system.

After you’ve served and the nonprofit has reported your hours, you’ll be able to view your hours in your Hands On Atlanta account. Click here to view your hours and self report them in your volunteer profile. Once you have completed your service hours, Hands On Atlanta will prepare your letter of verification for the court system.

If you’d like to manually track your hours, print this verification form and have the nonprofit official verify your hours served on site at the end of the project. You can then scan and email the form to info@handsonatlanta.org.

Note: Hands On Atlanta is not able to verify any hours for projects that are not managed by us.

We made this helpful video to walk you through step-by-step, in using your Hands On Atlanta account. You’ll learn:

  • How to create a Hands On Atlanta account

  • How to sign up for a project

  • Where to find and verify hours in your account

Note: Individuals who have been convicted of or charged with any crime involving or relating to child abuse or neglect, child pornography, child abduction, or any other violent offense, including kidnapping, rape or any sexual offense, or who have ever been ordered by a court to receive psychiatric or psychological treatment in connection with such crime or crimes are NOT permitted to register on this site.
