WHAT IS A L.E.A.D. VOLUNTEER

Hands On Atlanta L.E.A.D. Volunteers play a critical role in pulling off large, custom, curated service projects and make a sizable impact in the metro Atlanta community. During a volunteer project, you’ll lead a specific tasks or work directly with a small group of volunteers, help the project manager where needed, and guide volunteers through a fun and meaningful experience. As a L.E.A.D. Volunteer you’ll be an extension of the Hands On Atlanta team, treating everyone with respect, gratitude, and patience.

L. LEARN

Learn about the various challenges facing the Atlanta community.
Connect with and gain understanding from those addressing Atlanta’s most pressing issues.
Work alongside the Hands On Atlanta Corporate Impact team to better understand project and people management.

E. EMPOWER

Support volunteers in various tasks across several impact areas
Provide the tools, resources and expertise to equip volunteers with everything necessary to get the job done
Energize volunteers around our mission and the work supporting our nonprofit or school partners.

A. ACTIVATE

Act as an ambassador and share the work Hands On Atlanta and our partners are doing to make Atlanta more engaged and equitable.
Step up for your group of volunteers and get them supplies or materials needed to complete the project.

D. DELIVER
