The King Center is training individuals to influence equitable change in our national and global infrastructure. Throughout the year, we offer several different variations of our training which include 2 HR Intro Sessions, 2 Day Sessions and specialized sessions for corporations, social justice-focused organizations, law enforcement and schools. The goals of the trainings:

  • To engage participants, including emerging and next-generation leaders, in trainings, discussions and activities that enhance communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including interrupting unconscious biases as well as addressing and managing implicit biases

  • To educate individuals and leaders across all sectors including corporate, government, sports, media, law enforcement, entertainment, healthcare, education, civic, social and faith-based organizations, on Dr. King’s critical thinking and practical methods of nonviolent social change as a means and strategy to accelerate progress in social justice initiatives

  • To decrease in family, corporate and community conflict, violence, tension and community unrest
