Since 1989, Hands On Atlanta has been the city’s volunteer hub, connecting changemakers to nonprofits and schools in need. From cleaning parks and feeding the homeless, to tutoring students and engaging corporations in service, our community is at work every day building a more vibrant city. From October 4–11, 2026, Hands On Atlanta Week will unite volunteers, nonprofits, schools, companies, and community partners for a week dedicated to service and collective impact across metro Atlanta.

For more than 36 years, this annual tradition has created opportunities for Atlantans to roll up their sleeves, connect with local organizations, and help address some of our community’s most pressing needs.

There are several ways to get involved. Volunteer for a project, mobilize your colleagues or organization, make a donation, or help spread the word to your network.

Use the Hands On Atlanta Week Canva templates to share why you’re getting involved!

1. Open the Canva template using the link provided and select Use template to create your own copy.

2. Upload your photo by selecting Uploads in the Canva sidebar, then choose Upload files.

3. Add your photo by dragging it directly onto the image placeholder. Canva will automatically fit it into the frame.

4. Adjust your image by double-clicking the photo to crop or reposition it.

5. Personalize the template by moving the Hands On Atlanta Week graphic to either side

6. Keep the branding intact. Please do not change the Hands On Atlanta logo, brand colors, event dates, or other key design elements.

7. Download and share! Select Share → Download, choose PNG or JPG, and post it to your favorite social channel.
