Since 1989, Hands On Atlanta has been the city’s volunteer hub, connecting changemakers to nonprofits and schools in need. From cleaning parks and feeding the homeless, to tutoring students and engaging corporations in service, our community is at work every day building a more vibrant city. Hands On Atlanta’s High Five Party is back, this time as a fundraiser to celebrate our amazing volunteers! We couldn’t do our work without our volunteers, and they deserve a night filled with recognition, appreciation, and, of course, high fives!
We're hostingat Guardian Works, where there’ll be food, good vibes, and a stage for a short program to give awards and spotlight the volunteers and community partners who make our work possible. This isn’t just a party—it’s a celebration of service, a night of gratitude, and a chance to rally around the people who always step up when Atlanta needs them most.
Why are we throwing this shindig? Because in just a few months, we’ve engaged 40,000 volunteers—something that used to take us a year! Our 52 AmeriCorps members put in over 72,000 service hours, 30 Civic Leaders engaged 2,000+ people, and our top volunteers contributed thousands of hours to bettering Atlanta. That’s some serious impact, and it deserves some serious celebration.
