growing the good
For the 2026 edition of the Hands On Atlanta Spring for Service (April 2026) we’re celebrating service as THE way ATLiens are showing up, solving problems and building community - together.

Volunteers power the nonprofit sector and here in Atlanta, volunteers make an incredible impact on and in our community.
This past year Hands On Atlanta mobilized over 80,000 volunteers and we’re on track to engage more than 90,000 people in service this year. Those individuals served more than 280,000 hours, which totals close to $9 million in value invested back into Atlanta.
But if we dig a little deeper, beyond just the number of volunteers and hours to get to the results of their work, last year our volunteers helped 60+ food pantries distribute over 4 million meals into the community. In addition, they supported over 12,000 students in our partner Title 1 elementary schools with wrap around services, including math tutoring and social emotional coaching, STEAM enrichment, meals for extended holidays/breaks from school and more!
This is impact worth celebrating AND supporting. Our Spring for Service is a way you can help us do both. April is Global Volunteer Month, featuring days of service like Good Deeds Day, National Volunteer Week, Earth Day, and Global Youth Service Day.

high5 party
High Five in '26! Join the Hands On Atlanta family for a night of FUNdraising and to celebrate service!
Hands On Atlanta’s High Five Party is back, this time as a fundraiser to celebrate our amazing volunteers! We couldn’t do our work without our volunteers, and they deserve a night filled with recognition, appreciation, and, of course, high fives!
We're hosting at Guardian Works, where there’ll be food, good vibes, and a stage for a short program to give awards and spotlight the volunteers and community partners who make our work possible. This isn’t just a party—it’s a celebration of service, a night of gratitude, and a chance to rally around the people who always step up when Atlanta needs them most.
Join us. Celebrate with us. High five with us.
